School transportation is a complex puzzle—and we’re looking for the brightest minds to solve it!
Key Objectives:
- Efficiency – Minimize route distance while covering all essential stops
- Time management – Reduce student waiting times and optimize travel duration
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Adapt to real-time traffic and road conditions

What you’ll work with
- Real transport datasets from Transdev (routes, schedules, and traffic data).
- Open-source mapping tools to visualize and optimize bus routes
- Data-driven solutions for operational efficiency
- Your own device with your favorite programming language
Hackathon Schedule
Day 1: Kickoff & Team Formation
- Welcome session & challenge introduction
- Presentation of datasets, tools, and objectives
- Team formation & brainstorming
Day 2: Development & Mentorship
- Work on your solution with guidance from Transdev experts
- Mentorship sessions with industry leaders & professors
- Workshops on transport analytics & optimization
Day 3: Final presentations & awards
- Pitch your ideas to a panel of top industry experts

You can either register as individual person, partially complete team, or complete team. Choose Your Registration Type:
- Individual Registration – We will match you with a team!
- Partially complete team (2 people) – We will help you find additional members.

FAQ
Do I need experience in transportation or optimization?
No! This event is open to all backgrounds. However, basic programming, data analysis, or project management skills will be helpful.
Do I need to come with a team?
No! You can register individually, and we’ll match you with a team or with an incomplete team. Ideally you will register as a full team (3-5 people).
What happens if we win?
Winning teams will receive cash prizes, an official Transdev certificate, and an opportunity to discuss further collaboration with Transdev’s innovation team.
Will travel expenses be covered?
Unfortunately, participants will need to cover their own travel costs.
